Join us as a Senior Performance Testing Manager in Bristol
* you’ll be undertaking testing activities to agreed timescales, cost and quality to prove that solutions satisfy customer needs and business operating principles
* you’ll have a high degree of expertise and specialisation in performance testing to deliver this role

What you’ll do
you’ll lead a group of specialised individuals to implement, embed and drive behavioural change in performance testing throughout the project life cycle to a group of agile teams within a growing Digital agile environment.

In the course of your work you’ll:
* Drive and influence the implementation, embedding and behavioural attitude within the entire platform community to take ownership of good performance testing practices
* Continually drive process improvements and capability uplift to allow the teams to deliver in a faster and more efficient manner
* Measure and report team performance in terms directly related to achieving goals
* Manage and coach a small team of specialised individuals in development plans and technical direction, ensuring they have the skills and leadership to deliver great results
* Ensure that stakeholders understand performance issues and the impact to the application to correctly prioritise and fix any bugs in the system
* Facilitate cross-programme collaboration to ensure that best practices are being followed across platforms

The skills you’ll need
Were looking for someone with experience working in an Agile environment, with great stakeholder management and collaboration skills. you’ll also need practical experience in maintaining enterprise level requirement analysis, scenario construction, script writing, test execution and RAID management.

you’ll be proactive about learning and development and you’ll have the enthusiasm to share thoughts and ideas on better ways of working.

you’ll be proficient with:
* Performance tools such as LoadRunner, Silk Performer, Gatling and Jmeter
* Monitoring tools, Introscope, Dynatrace
* Scripting languages, VBScript and Python
* Tools for issue tracking, test management, documentation (JIRA, Zephyr, Confluence)

you’ll also have knowledge of:
* Tool-aided web-service testing (Postman, SoapUI)
* Remote and distributed test execution (Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, SauceLabs)
* Relevant change frameworks
