As we expand our product line, we are looking for a talented individual to work on the embedded software for our current products as well as other exciting R&D projects.

As our Senior Embedded Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing and developing robust and innovative embedded software solutions, methodically testing them prior to release, and writing and maintaining their technical documentation. You will be part of a multi­cultural, multi­disciplinary group of talented developers, and will produce work to the highest standards.
Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development of complex, reliable code on an ARM-based microcontroller (specifically the Cortex M3/M4 series)
  • Work closely with Software and Electronic Engineers to ensure code is thoroughly tested and integrated
  • Enhance, maintain, and improve embedded system performance for existing products, such as the Seaboard RISE
  • Take ownership of key areas of firmware development and act as a mentor for more junior members of the team
  • Maintain high standards of coding practice, revision control, methods, and documentation
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully to ensure end-to-end quality

Your Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ARM-based microcontrollers in a bare-metal environment
  • High proficiency with C/C++
  • Strong debugging skills
  • A familiarity with the principles of Digital Signal Processing
  • A working understanding of electronics and PCB design
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • Previous experience in embedded development
