We are a small but mighty non-profit in the education technology sector. We were recently announced as co-winner of the Elon Musk sponsored $15 million Global Learning XPRIZE competitionand have grand ambitions.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Web developer to help us build internal tools to support localisation of our onecourse software into new languages. onecourse will be used by of millions of marginalised children.

Role

You’ll be a permanent full-time web developer based in our Fulham office.

What you’ll be working on

  • Creating web-based front ends for a series of tools to be used by localisation experts around the world.
  • Integrations with our back-end systems, working with another internal developer.
  • Working from a set of detailed specification documents.
  • Opportunities for native mobile app development.

Requirements

Tech

  • Experience and proficiency with one of the major front end web frameworks.
  • Great HTML, JS and CSS knowledge and skills.
  • Proven ability to interface with REST APIs.
  • Using GitHub proficiently for source control.

Mindset

  • Passionate about technology, product and user experience.
  • A natural eye for enhancing a user’s experience.
  • Ability to work independently, plan your own solutions to problems and iterate quickly.
