  • This is an exciting opportunity for a star full stack developer to work on our award winning front end and back office applications, to create beautiful code that will fulfil our vision of creating the most innovative and addictive travel user facing web. Our Expectations of you:

The necessary technical stuff

  • 4+ Years full stack software development experience in a commercial environment
  • Developing B2C online retail platforms
  • Experience with React or AngularJS
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web API 2
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with unit tests, integration tests and end to end tests
  • Experience administering Azure web apps
  • Data analytics, especially as regards big data with SQL sorted procedures and views
  • Experience with document databases/NoSQL databases
  • Agile experience with Scrum or Kanban
  • Basic competency with JIRA

Other key attributes we are looking for

  • Good communication skills in English
  • Experience in managing software projects
  • Leading/coaching small dev teams (of about 3-4)
  • Capable and experienced in working with the business on strategic planning
  • Able to communicate cross-functionally with people with different levels of technical expertise
  • Able to translate product roadmaps into solution architectures, and deliver on those architectures
  • Self-directed and excited to learn new technologies
  • Able to lead remote and outsourced teams and make distributed teams feel cohesive
  • Happy to be the first point of contact for the development team

How we work as a tech team

  • You will produce systems that go to live in rapid iterations and see how your development work can impact our business. We have a clear strategy, and we ensure this is underpinned by a clear tech roadmap and delivery plan. You will be instrumental in shaping the technology architecture and creating the 2 weekly sprint plans for delivery and implementation. It is important that you can work closely with the business and co-founders to help shape the business strategy as for Luxtripper Tech is at the core of what differentiates us in the use of data and helping our customers find their perfect trip.
  • The Luxtripper team operates pretty much a flat structure and encourages a healthy environment for ideas, solutions and we ensure we challenge one another as we seek out the best ways of doing things.
  • We work in a customized Kanban process to transform quarterly backlogs into deliverable 2-3 sprints of work items. As the lead developer, you will be instrumental in making sure the business goals are aligned with the developer work items.
