Overview

At Karhoo, we are creating the largest and most transparent marketplace for ground transportation: the Karhoo Mobility Exchange.

By aggregating ground transport around the world, with regulated/licensed taxi and PHV fleets, we will give greater choice to consumers and corporates alike, bring new opportunities and data for the private and public sector, and help to enable ‘smart cities’ for citizens everywhere.

Karhoo, the first fully-integrated global, neutral, booking platform for regulated Taxis and PHVs was bought out of administration in January 2017, funded by RCI Bank and Services, the financial services provider for the Groupe Renault brands in the world and for the Nissan Group brands mainly in Europe.

RCI Bank and Services operates at the crossroads of three challenging worlds: cars, banking and services and is backing Karhoo via Flit Technologies Ltd, a new venture funded by RCI Bank and Services.

THE SUPPLY TEAM

The supply team at Karhoo are our first representatives on new territory. We select the new countries and cities that will be covered by Karhoo. This selection is based on requirements from demand, market analysis, existing contacts within fleets, and technical capabilities from integrations with dispatch systems.

Once we decide to go into a new country, we select and sign up fleets that match our requirements. The fleets are then onboarded onto our systems. For a fleet to receive trips from Karhoo, it needs to use a dispatch system that we are or can be integrated to.

For the moment we cover UK, Europe, North America and Asia – and we are constantly monitoring the World for new supply opportunities. Taxis, minicabs, motorcycles, or any other means of ground transportation as long as it is legal and compliant with regulations.

The supply team also looks after the suppliers on an account management model. We strive to automate as much as possible throughout the value chain, from signing, onboarding, integrating, testing, deploying, billing, and servicing.

We’re looking for motivated women and men who can solve more problems than they create, who can work independently as well as in a team, and who can interact professionally with our partners. People who will always find the root cause of a problem, improve the quality and increment the speed in all our processes. We are here to positively disrupt the ground transportation industry and we need your help.

If you’re looking for an opportunity to join a fast paced startup that promotes an environment for collaborative culture and growth striving to change the way we get around in a city then look no further!
