BardsleyX is developing digital solutions to fight climate change and improve public health through food production. We are a climate-agtech company seeking to redefine how fruit is produced and sold globally. Focused on improving carbon sequestration to reduce climate change whilst increasing fruit yield and nutritional quality. We are building solutions that make a difference to growers, consumers and the environment, creating a wholistic carbon farming system. Creating a fundamental shift where farmers are not paid just for what they grow, but how they grow. Moving food production from the superficial to the meaningful.

We sit within one of the largest fruit businesses in UK, providing all the resources needed to accelerate development and iterate at pace. We are looking for a capable insight analyst who is curious, engaged and excited by a challenge.

BI Analyst :

This hands-on role will support the development of solutions and products. The successful candidate will help us use the data collected through the business to identify and understand trends, solve business problems, and monitor metrics. They will be involved in determining the data the company needs, structuring it in an appropriate format, analysing the data using queries, and creating reports and visualisations for internal company decision-makers and customers.

We are looking for someone who can create commercially viable solutions from POC to enterprise ready. You will support and feed into decisions on how our products look, feel and how they are engaged with. You will be working in close collaboration with our Lead Engineers, product team and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of experience in Enterprise wide data solutions including ETL/ELT
  • Understanding of Star/Snowflake schema data modelling
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Familiar with cloud-based data architecture
  • 2+ years’ experience with end-user reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, similar…)
  • A keen interest in delivering a quality solution and desire to learn

Responsibilities:

  • Create Reports and Data Visualisations
  • Determine business information needs and work towards fulfilling those needs by gathering data from internal or external sources.
  • Support determination of the right approach for presenting data to management and which analytical tools/approaches offer the most potential
  • Work with databases to put the collected data into a meaningful structure and format for later analysis. Considering business requirements, relationships between data, and benefits and limitations of approaches
  • Run queries on our databases to sort and filter data.
  • Analyse and interpret the data looking for patterns and determine if the findings answer the business’s questions and are accurate
